Amy Lockhart is a mom, community leader, and our County Commissioner for District 4. Amy is committed to protecting taxpayers, our freedoms, and our quality of life.
Washington politicians are failing our families, with misguided economic policies causing runaway inflation and out of control gas prices. That’s why keeping our local economy strong is Amy’s number one priority as our County Commissioner.
Amy previously served as Chairman of the Seminole County School Board, where she worked to maintain our prestigious A-rated schools and preserve parental control of our children’s education.
Professionally, Amy offers a broad base of experience. With a background in marketing and sales, she operated her own consulting business prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom for eight years. In 2004, Amy had the opportunity to return to work full time for the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners, where she served the needs of our community every day.
Amy and her husband, Tim, have been married for 28 years and have 2 awesome kids, Karis and Jake. The Lockharts are long time residents of Sanford, where they attend St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. In her “spare time”, Amy enjoys tending her kitchen garden, cooking, and researching genealogy.
